Throughout his career he has played pivotal roles at some of the world’s most renowned pharmaceutical companies and CROs, including GSK, Eli Lilly, Parexel, INC Research (now Syneos Health), PPD, IQVIA, and ICON contributing to the successful launch of groundbreaking therapies that have transformed patient lives around the globe.
As a strategic leader, Birant has led high-performing European sales teams and managed complex global partnerships, consistently driving innovation and value across the clinical development landscape. He has rejoined PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he is dedicated to partnering with biotech companies to help them achieve their clinical and commercial ambitions.
A long-time advocate for collaboration and knowledge sharing, Birant has been actively involved with PCMG for nearly two decades, serving as a committed sub-committee member. His passion lies in advancing best practices that accelerate access to innovative, cost-effective treatments for patients worldwide.
