Thomas is an experienced life sciences leader with more than three decades of senior executive, regulatory, and industry expertise across pharma, biotechnology, and health authorities. Holding an MSc in Medicine from the University of Copenhagen, [Name] has held leadership roles spanning clinical development, data science, and global operations.
Currently serving as CEO of Lif, the Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry, Thomas previously held senior positions including Senior Vice President of Data Science at Novo Nordisk and Director General of the Danish Medicines Agency. Earlier roles include executive leadership positions at PAREXEL, Grünenthal, UCB, and Ferring Pharmaceuticals, as well as clinical posts within Copenhagen Hospitals.
In addition to executive roles, [Name] has held numerous influential board and advisory appointments, including Vice Chair of TransCelerate Biopharma, Chair of the Heads of Medicines Agencies Management Group, and membership of several European regulatory and data governance bodies. Thomas has received multiple honours, including being named European of the Year in 2021 and appointment as Knight of the Order of Dannebrog.
